Fruits of my labour

August 15, 2014

Having mentioned that I’ve been busy, here are some of the reasons for that claim. I say some of them, because not everything is finalised as yet, so watch this space for more news soon.

First of all I must say a huge thank you to everyone who has downloaded the titles which are currently on special offer. Buried in the Past, currently available in Amazon’s Kindle Summer Sale has reached # 20 in the crime fiction category.

Silent as the Grave, currently free to download on Amazon has reached #8 in crime fiction. This promotion is in advance of publication of the second book in the Eden House Mystery series. Watch out for The Kaiser’s Gold – or stay tuned here, because I’ll be letting you know as soon as I have the release date and the cover image. Still more exciting news regarding Silent as the Grave, which I know will please readers who prefer physical books to downloads. Next spring, Accent Press will give it a full paperback release, rather than the print on demand version, something I am extremely happy about.

In the meantime, I have completed two further short stories, one for Halloween and one for Christmas. More about them soon. Finally, a reminder that I will be back in Waterstones Scarborough store tomorrow (August 16th) from noon until 3 p.m., so if you’re in the area, please call in and say hello.
