Kindle Countdown – and a rude word.

November 7, 2013

Requiem Kindle Cover

I’m a Yorkshireman. We have a reputation for being a bit tight-fisted. In Yorkshire, discount is considered to be a swear word – that is unless you’re buying something.

However, Amazon are giving authors a great opportunity to widen their readership base by allowing them to take advantage of the Kindle Countdown Deal. For one week, I will be able to offer one of my titles for sale at a vastly reduced price, on a rising scale throughout that week.

This promotion also gives readers a chance to sample the work of authors who are new to them, at a price that will not break the bank.

Therefore, starting today and for the next week, REQUIEM, book one of the Byland Crescent series, by my alter ego, William Gordon, will be on special offer via Amazon.com starting at 99 cents and Amazon.co.uk, at 99 pence.

So, thank you, Mr Amazon – I just hope I don’t lose my Yorkshire status.
